Its 11:30 am EST and its time for my daily cigar and to catch up on the ESPN highlights, so today I grabbed a new cigar to smoke that has just arrived from the Hammer and Sickle folks the name of this cigar is called the Berlin Wall; and I have the pleasure of smoking the Berlin Wall Churchill Size: 7 x 48. The Berlin Wall cigar is limited release on only 500 made. We found the Berlin Wall cigars on nhcigars.com here is a link to check them out - http://nhcigars.com/brands/6751
The first appearance of this cigar is definitely intriguing and something I have never seen before in the cigar industry. The Berlin Wall cigars come in handcrafted Marble Boxes from Germany with a bright copper band for a cigar label – that’s total dedication on the vendors end and its awesome looking. As we all know there are plenty of flashy cigars right now all over the web these Berlin Walls cigars look nice, but the real question is do they smoke nice and is it worth the price tag?
Price per a stick: $8-$9 range
Price per a box of 20: $150 – $160 range
From the very first puff of this cigar it kicked me with a nice flavor with a notch of Ligero , I also noticed that the Berlin Wall cigar is beautifully wrapped with a Criollo wrapper that gives it that sweet nutty taste which not a lot of the cigar companies do these days most companies are into dying their cigars into a jet black color – GROSS. The draw is outstanding almost like a Davidoff – just perfect which is one of the things I look for when smoking a cigar.
12.30 pm EST I’m half way down the Berlin Wall Churchill cigar and it’s still impressive. The flavors are still there, the draw is perfect, and the Ligero is still kicking and screaming – just what I love total Awesomeness!
The one draw back of the Berlin Wall cigar is the ash, as the ash does not seem to hold together very well which isn’t a really big deal in my book, you’re supposed to ash the cigar not take a picture and frame it. I see these cigar reviews and blogs all the time rating cigars on their ash and appearance, you’re not putting the ash in your mouth and eating it, so who gives a damn about that ash I surely don’t and neither should you.
1:15 pm EST I’m still puffing away on the Berlin Wall cigar and I’m not even close to finish I have got my money’s worth out of this cigar. The draw, burn, flavor is still perfect, the Ligero is fading away which isn’t a bad thing because I plan on grabbing lunch in about 20 minutes and I want to taste my food – I’m still pumped about the Berlin Wall cigar.
1:35 pm EST the Berlin Wall cigar is finally put to rest now 2 hours of cigar awesomeness – I got my moneys worth !! I can move on with the day answering text message from my crazy ex girlfriends, employees, emails from Russia trying to sell me Viagra and cheap Rolex watches, paying my outrageous Verizon cell phone bills, dealing with total computer meltdown failures, and answering phone calls from annoying telemarketers. I’m in a much better mood and feel like anything is possible right now after smoking the Berlin Wall cigar; you should grab a box if you can here - you will love them!

La Aurora 107 Cigar Review
You Can Get them Here ! As with their very successful Preferidos, Cien Años and 1495, La Aurora has taken their time in the next step in their 107 year history as Dominican’s oldest cigar maker.
“We had defined our goal early on,” said Guillermo Leon, La Aurora VP, “and that was to bring the smokers a medium bodied, richly flavored smoke with a fair amount of spice – at a very attractive price.”
Using Dominican, Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian tobaccos, the blending process went through dozens of iterations before achieving a cigar that brings a balanced flavour that is peppery, sweet and provides toasty notes.
According to Vice President, José Blanco, the cigars are being packed in boxes of twenty-one (21) and will come in three (3) sizes priced from $6 to $8:
“I firmly believe we have a smoke, providing excellent flavor, strength and balance,” José Blanco told a gathering of cigar aficionados at a dinner in New York, “that matches the standards we have adhered to in creating the other great cigars that have brought us high regard and high ratings.”
The cigar, named La Aurora 107 in honor of the company’s 107 years in business, will be released in a series of steps, commencing 1 April. “In conjunction with Guillermo and Jose we have planned an exciting series of events to introduce tobacconists and their customers to this cigar,” Nestor Miranda said at the same gathering in New York City.
“As for the name, La Aurora 107, following on the heels of Cien Años, which marked the company’s 100th anniversary,” Leon told the group, “it was decided to keep it simple and meaningful… and easy to remember, hence, La Aurora 107 – La Aurora’s 107th year!”
La Aurora’s distributor, Miami Cigar & Company, has announced that the new cigar will only be available in brick and mortar tobacconists.
Some may argue that the Padron Anniversary 1964 Cigars are the finest cigar that Padron makes. Others will argue the 80th Anniversary. The Padron Family Reserve 44 Maduro Torpedo is made with the same quality of tobacco as its perfecto brother. From what we hear from the Padron Family it is a similar blend like the famous Padron Millenium cigar. All the tobacco in the construction of this cigar is five years old. At 6 inches long and 52 ring gauge Boxed Pressed.
The Padron 44th Family Reserve cigar is perfectly constructed by the best rollers in the Villazon factory. Some of the flavors of this cigar are spice, charred earth, wood, leather, and cocoa. This cigar has a dry smoke and a creamy finish that will leave you chewing hours later. A must have for the Padron lovers out there !
